Phase 1 of our Class Production

Our school will be putting on a production at the end of the term. We are using plastic when creating our props to illustrate how plastics have become a real problem for our environment, especially our oceans. Today we mastered how to make our birds. Here is an instructional video to explain how to make them. Photos and tutorial to follow...

  1. This afternoon, Mrs Hannah attended a Manaiakalani hui. A video like the one above was shared my a student in their learning. So, why not try one ourselves??? What do you think?

    1. Wow Mrs Hannah and Tanemahuta! This is such a powerful way of sharing the instructions for a really neat idea! I really love the way you have used a single-use waste product to create something so beautiful that will add so much visual interest to your school production! I just know that so many people will be so impressed with what you've created. I love the way you thought of adding the important details that you learned along the way, through your iterations, that have made them successful! Next, I WOULD suggest that you share some photos of the finished birds and later how you use them in your production, but I know you've already planned to do that, so instead I'll just say... please do share them! I'm looking forward to it!
